We offer four different types of oxygen delivery systems: gaseous oxygen, liquid oxygen, oxygen concentrators or the NEW homefill oxygen systems. We can work with you and your physician to develop what’s right for you.

Note on Liquid Oxygen

Liquid Oxygen has long been the preferred source of oxygen for home patients. It provides the patient with a more pure product (99.9%) compared to oxygen concentrators (90 – 95%.) With liquid oxygen, no electricity is required and the noise and heat that are associated with the concentrator is not present. Patients are able to fill their own portables, making it easier for them to maintain and active, more productive lifestyle.

Cutbacks in the Medicare allowables for home oxygen have led some suppliers to limit their use of liquid oxygen for more profitable forms of delivery. Here at Freedom Medical, we feel that the type of oxygen prescribed for the patient should meet all of the patient’s needs, not just their saturation levels.
